魁北克一家家具制造商表示，美国对加拿大商品征收关税的威胁迫使其在该省解雇 115 名员工。
South Shore Furniture 表示，将在位于魁北克市西南圣十字镇的总部和工厂裁员 97 人，并在东部城镇的分公司裁员 18 人。
本周早些时候，美国总统唐纳德·特朗普表示，他将至少一个月内推迟对加拿大征收关税。
但 South Shore Furniture 在今天的新闻发布会上表示，特朗普动机的不确定性已严重影响了销售，并补充说其70%的产品都运往美国。
