星巴克宣布全球裁员过千人：最快明天中午开始

连锁咖啡店星巴克Starbucks宣布全球裁减1100名企业员工。新任主席兼行政总裁Brian Niccol表示，将于明日中午前通知受影响员工，并削减数百个职位空缺。
Niccol昨日致函员工指出，公司致力提升营运效率。Starbucks全球有1.6万名员工，但今次裁员不涉及咖啡豆烘焙及仓库员工，分店咖啡师亦不受影响。
Niccol今年1月已预告3月初前公布裁员计划。他指出，公司规模庞大、架构层级过多、小团队经理众多，以及部分职位仅负责协调工作影响营运效率。
Starbucks去年秋季聘请Niccol扭转业绩。他表示将改善服务时间、重建分店作为社区聚会场所，并计划削减部分餐单项目及改良订餐系统，应对流动、外卖及店内点餐。
Starbucks截至去年9月底止财年，全球同店销售下跌2%。美国顾客不满价格上涨及等候时间增长，而中国市场则面对较平价竞争对手的挑战。
